Excellent and very talented producer, featured on multiple BF1 mixes. Famous to most for his Stevie Nicks remix. Famous to me for his "Sentinel of Love" -- in my opinion still one of the most sensual, delicious pieces of music to be created post-PG.

Once I played that track for someone who, for all intents and purposes, is totally a fan of the style of music I enjoy. The comment "you like runway music" enlightened me pretty heavily. For many people, house music is not real or beautiful. With that deep, earth bass, ethereal vocals and atmospheric rhythm hits on top of those keyboard/synth chords... it could go either way I suppose. But if you can't feel the heavy soul of Imagination (Leee John's biggest project) packed with a new energy, you definitely can be accurately accused of not feeling it.
My recommendation for those in this camp is as such... If you don't have really nice speakers, borrow someone's awesome headphones. Wait til no one is around at all. Just you. Turn it up, really really really really loud. Let that bass hit. Hear it out. Don't stop the song. If necessary, close your eyes. Whatever you need to do.
Imagine you are living by yourself in a city, as far from home as you need it to be. You go to a new night to hear some music by yourself at a strange club on the far side of town. It's 3am and only the dedicated remain, all dancing by themselves for their own reasons. As this song begins to play, the lights go down, almost completely black, except for a faint blue light tracing around the club. Let that bass hit you hard.
Eli's got a new project and a new video. DJ Mehdi's mix (part 2) is the highlight for me musically, but the video is more than worth a post.
